Each year, SEAD and Innovations in Healthcare recruits and hires Duke MBA and Masters in Public Policy (MPP) students and matches them with organizations in our networks for a summer project. The interns work for 10 weeks, including 7 weeks on-site with the host organization. This is an opportunity to get a smart graduate student to help address a business or operational challenge your organization is facing.
Funding from the SEAD program, provided by USAID, will cover intern travel and living expenses and provide a small living stipend. Your team would work with us to scope the project, manage the intern on the ground, and provide them with workspace in your office. If you are a SEAD innovator interested in hosting an intern at your organization this summer, please respond to Erin Escobar (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Monday, February 8 with a project idea (or ideas) with the following information:
- Project(s) description
- Desired skillset
- Any language skills needed, beyond English
- Anticipated deliverable
